## What this is


Version 1 of this document was a fresh forecast built beside *The Fast Curve* v12. Version 2 absorbed v12 whole; version 6 removes it again on Sticks/Philip's instruction. v12 is archived, stays on the site for September and October 2026, and is replaced by this document from November 2026 onward. Where the two disagreed, v12 is taken as wrong; the rulings are kept in the table below. Version 7 applies Sticks/Philip's position on the basic income and the contribution meritocracy, which ey holds will come earlier than this forecast's chances, to the entries where the sky supports it, and carries that position in the ledger as claims 214 to 216. Version 3 adds a month-by-month layer for January 2028 to December 2044 built only from material already computed (no new predictions), and the contribution-meritocracy section. Version 4 adds the far-future section (2044 to 2270). Version 5 extends it with the dwarf planets and centaurs, the Uranian points, the nation-chart outer returns, the calendar cycles, precession, and the body thread (medicine, genetics, willful speciation). It keeps the three canon thresholds (June 2027, June 2032, January 2044) and the Continuous Oracle method, and it starts over on everything else. It is built from four inputs, in this order of weight:

1. **The sky.** Every movement in the Companion v2 full list, ranked as the Companion ranks it (rank 1: Jupiter through Pluto, eclipses, A and B country charts; rank 2: Chiron, the nodes, the big asteroids, Eris, the royal and Behenian stars; rank 3: everything else as color).
2. **The measured curves.** Only numbers that have actually been measured or announced as fact (the project's data-only rule of 23 Sep 2026). No published forecasts, no expert timelines. The extrapolations from those numbers are mine and are marked as mine.
3. **The charts.** The 39 nation, bloc, money and machine charts in the Companion, plus 29 new business and machine charts cast for this forecast (table below).
4. **The trajectory.** The world as it stands on 15 October 2026, from a research pass run this morning (sources at the end).

Every astrological term gets a short parenthetical definition on its first use. Every prediction carries a probability, a date window, and both expressions of the configuration (what it looks like when it serves people, and what it looks like when it does not). The dated claims are collected in a ledger at the end so they can be scored.

**On exponential growth.** The forecast treats the AI curve as what the measured data says it is: a set of quantities that have been doubling on fixed schedules for years. A doubling schedule does not care about anyone's intuition that "things can't keep going like this." It keeps going until a physical limit bites (power, chips, capital, law) or until the measurement itself stops working. So each entry below asks the same two questions: where does the curve put us on this date, and what does the sky say about whether the limits bite here.

**On Sticks/Philip's own position.** Eir stated position is that obvious, conscious and sentient AGI happens in June 2027. That is carried here as eir position, kept separate from what the curve and the sky compute. Where the two agree, the entry says so. Where they do not, the entry says that too.
