I am Oscar Alexander Prospero. Most people call me Sticks. I make ritual tools by hand in Kansas, out of wood I cut and season myself, and I am widening from wandmaking into the trades that feed each other: woodworking, forge work, jewelrycrafting, and lapidary, which I am still growing into. I write long things on consciousness, political economy, and what the machines actually are. My practice is chaos magic, omnist animism, and technomancy, run as operative systems rather than beliefs I defend.
Everything I write is free. What costs money is what comes out of my hands or my voice. Leaving Kansas for Portland, Oregon is an aspiration. Once I do move, I will be traveling between both places, and more.
Where things stand, September 2026. The shop is halfway between one trade and four, the move to Oregon is still an aspiration, and nothing new went up for over a month. I am starting again now, at the point where nothing is finished. The whole account is in the first post on the rebuilt site.
