2042 — The Aquarian Transition
2042: promises meet outcomes
The Saturn–Neptune opposition series begins on 6 January, recurs in March and October, and continues in 2043. The audit therefore begins before the Second Curve's April thematic heading. The practical question is whether the Handover improved prosperity, health, freedom, and fairness.
Independent measurement becomes politically powerful. Credible reformers can strengthen the settlement by exposing failures and sharing authority. Institutions that treat disappointing outcomes as disloyalty instead create the conditions for organized refusal. The original source's strong disillusion test is cross-national trust in a post-Handover authority falling below 30% by the end of 2043. It must refer to an authority that actually exists and to a defined survey measure; the absence of that institution is not itself a survey result.
Financial disputes concern the value of productive infrastructure, biological data, and public obligations. In healthcare, novelty is measured against net benefit, harm, affordability, and access. Biomedical and cognitive autonomy become constitutional matters when monitoring and intervention are woven into public systems.
The Taiwan Strait remains a specific geopolitical risk hypothesis for April 2042–December 2043, defined by a blockade or strike. It is not an inevitable consequence of a semiconductor-company chart. The source also opens a November 2042–December 2043 medical milestone: approval in a G7 jurisdiction of a cure or durable remission for a major chronic condition, with type 1 diabetes, a dementia, or a major cancer class given as the original examples.
What would count: independent outcome comparisons against the compact's actual promises, predefined trust data, specific legal and geopolitical events, and a regulatory medical decision supported by evidence. Strong delivery and rising trust weaken the disillusion forecast even though its astronomical anchor occurs.
